Job seeker, trader, two others turn millionaires in FCMB's ‘’Millionaire Promo Season 3’’
Lagos, June 15, 2016: A job seeker resident in Abuja, Sharon Ike; a trader based in Obosi, Anambra state, Tochukwu Onwuamaegbu; another trader in Lagos, Mistura Ibrahim and a customer in Ibadan, Oyo state, Abimbola Olayinka, are the latest millionaires to emerge in the ongoing First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited reward scheme tagged, “FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3’’. The lucky customers emerged from the electronic draws held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 across the country. In addition, 640 other customers of the Bank were rewarded with various exciting gift items such as LED televisions, power generating sets, decoders, tablets, smart phones and other consolation prizes.
At the Lagos regional draw held at the Bank's Amuwo Odofin branch, Mistura Ibrahim emerged the winner of N1million, while at the Abuja/North regional draw in Abuja, Sharon Ike was rewarded with the same amount. In the same way, Tochukwu Onwuamaegbu was announced the lucky winner of N1million from the South-East/South-South draw that took place at Oko in Anambra state, just as Abimbola Olayinka is now N1million richer on account of his winning at the South-West regional draw held at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.
The “FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3’’ commenced in April this year and will run till November. The current season follows the successful conclusion of the Millionaire Promo Season 2, which held from August 2015 to January 2016 and produced 12 millionaires. The promotion which targets all segments of the society is part of the various initiatives put in place by FCMB to reward customers for their loyalty and patronage.
Speaking on the “FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3’', the Senior Vice President/Divisional Head of Retail of the Bank, Mr. Olu Akanmu, said, ‘’this promo is designed to further connect with and reward our customers for their loyalty and patronage. It is in response to the clamour of our esteemed customers for more, following the success of Season 2 of the Millionaire promo and also our desire to ensure that more of them (both existing and potential) benefit from this exciting reward scheme, which has turned dreams to reality. The promo also serves as an avenue to create empowerment opportunities for our account holders to fulfil their aspirations’’.
He added that, “our customers are the reason why FCMB exists and we are committed to always delighting them. This promo is unique because it is decentralised across our various zones and regions nationwide, which increases the chances of many of our customers to win. We, therefore, encourage everyone to take advantage of the reward opportunities the FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3 offers."
While congratulating all the winners, Mr. Akanmu advised them to channel their winnings to productive use. To participate in the FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 3, all an existing or a new customer needs to do is to increase his or her balance by N10,000.00 in any of the eligible savings accounts and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draws, where the star prize of N1million and other fantastic prizes will be won. Multiple savings of N10,000.00 will increase the chances of winning. To qualify for the grand finale draws, existing and new customers are to increase their balances with N50,000.00 and maintain it for 30 days. Multiple savings of N50,000.00 will also increase the chances of winning the star prize of N2million, which will be won by four customers.
The FCMB promos have resulted in increased customer engagement due to the simplified ways of participation and the level of transparency evident in the exercise.
