Following the introduction of electronic Form “A” by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) which takes immediate effect, you can now request for forex from the comfort of your home or office and pick it up at the nearest branch of your choice.

How It Works

Step 1 – Register on the platform (if you have already registered on the platform, please skip this step)

  • Visit https://www.tradesystem.gov.ng/login and click on Register Now.
  • Fill the form, select Individual and enter your Bank Verification Number (BVN) OR select Organization and enter your Tax Identification Number (TIN), then continue the process.
  • A One Time Password (OTP) will be generated and sent to the e-mail address attached to your BVN. Open your email and click on the link provided, after which your account will be successfully created.

Step 2 – Complete electronic Form A

  • Login to the platform and click Form A
  • Complete required fields
  • Choose FCMB and select preferred pick-up branch
  • Upload all required documents
  • Check for completion and submit. A unique application number will be generated.

Step 3: Contact your selected FCMB branch

  •  Visit the FCMB branch you selected and provide the application number generated.
  • You will be notified when to collect the PTA / BTA

Please note that a charge of N5,000 applies on all Form A submitted through the platform.
