The DEBIT MASTERCARD card is an EMV Chip and PIN card that is linked to a naira current or saving account. It is accepted worldwide for payment at over 24 million locations and for cash withdrawals at over 1.8 million ATMs in over 170 countries worldwide, wherever the MasterCard logo is displayed. The card is available in three variants; Classic, Gold and Platinum.

The Debit MasterCard is linked to cardholder’s current or saving account. Every transaction done
with your Debit MasterCard will reflect online real time in your bank account. Cardholders can monitor their transactions by simply viewing their account statement.
It's easy to get a Debit MasterCard– simply operate an individual Savings or Current account with
FCMB and apply for a Debit MasterCard. Once you have completed and signed a Debit Card application form, a Debit MasterCard will be issued immediately.
Your Debit MasterCard can be activated immediately using the in-branch POS terminal. Please see
the Customer Service Manager at any branch to activate your card.
The Debit MasterCard can be used on ATMs, POS machines and the internet. Your card is
internationally accepted as a means of payment at over 24 million merchant locations and over 1
million ATMs worldwide, in over 170 countries.
When a performing online/web transaction on a merchant site, you may be required to provide a One Time Password (OTP) before the transaction can be authorised. One Time password is a six (6) digit number sent to the cardholder’s registered phone number to authenticate online/web transaction.
One-Time Password (OTP) is a code securely generated and sent to confirm your online
transactions on Interswitch platform.
The One-Time Password is sent automatically via SMS to your phone number registered with
FCMB. If you do not receive the OTP, please call our 24 hour Contact Centre number on
01-2798800.

If you do not receive the OTP, please send a mail to customerservice@fcmb.com or call
FCMB 24 Hour Contact Centre on 01-2798800 or (07003290000).
To withdraw cash at the ATM, insert your card into the machine and enter your PIN. Select the type of account the card is linked to make a withdrawal and enter the amount of cash you want to
withdraw. Then take your cash, card, and receipt to keep track of your balance.
You can check the card balance on any ATM terminal that accepts your card variance or by viewing
your account details online.
You can make purchases using your Debit MasterCard until the expiration date shown on the card,
or until the value of the card has been depleted. Once your Debit MasterCard expires, you can request from the nearest FCMB branch for a new card
